Change in the format of children's races: agility competitions will take place in the race facilities

Skol to all small and big competitors of the Eagle Marathon! After today's thorough inspection of the children's race routes we were forced to make a change in the planned children's races for the safety of all young skiers. The race routes as originally designed would not have been completely safe for children given the forecast of strong winds and the profile of the routes. So on Saturday, February 3, the kids will not hit the trails, but will stay behind and compete in agility events of all kinds!

Children can now look forward to a fun and unconventional race format, but they will not miss out on race prizes and attractions. The agility competitions will take place in the planned age categories. The announcement of the results of the best cross-country skiing hopefuls also remains unchanged and children can traditionally look forward to a rich starting package and a medal.

We believe that the children will enjoy the races to the fullest and that this will test their skills and overall sportsmanship. SKOL at the start!
