Krušnohorská 30 has been moved to a new date in March!

What can we do, there is still not enough snow and we have no choice but to change the date of Krušnohorská 30. The race around Cínovec, originally planned for 21^st and 22^nd January, will take place at the weekend of 4^th to 5^th March. There should be no shortage of snow then. According to the local organisers, there have been sufficient amounts of snow around Cínovec on this date in recent years. The logbook of the Krušné Mountains snowcat drivers is the proof. We believe that together we will enjoy the race to the full in March!

Since this is unfortunately not the first time that we are forced to move or cancel a race this year, you already know what happens to your race fee. If you choose not to contact us, it will automatically be transferred to the new race date in March. However, you can also ask to have your race fee transferred to another SkiTour race in this season or in the next. Another option is to request a full refund.

If you decide for one of these steps, don’t hesitate to contact us at info@ski-tour.cz. You have until 31^st January 2023 to contact us. As we have previously informed race participants, the same procedure applies in the event of snow complications for all races this season.

Although the preparation of the Krušnohorská 30 race has cost us a lot of money and energy, we offer you the option of a full race fee refund. However, we would greatly appreciate it if you decide to move your race fee to next year or to another SkiTour race this season or the next. That way we won’t lose the funds needed to prepare the races and when the time comes, we can offer you races full of fun and adventure at the centre of the race as well as on the course.

We really appreciate the response so far to the changes regarding Horní Mísečky and Zadovská 30, where the vast majority of participants have not requested a full refund. Due to the change of the date of Krušnohorská 30, the ranking system of the whole series will also be modified, as our partner race Bieg Piastów will also take place on the same date. We will inform you about the new format soon.

We continue to monitor the snow situation together with the Czech Hydrometeorological Institute and we hope that it will improve in the near future.
