JIZERSKÁ 50 2022 TO PROVIDE 50 % DISCOUNT ON RACE FEE FOR ALL THOSE REGISTERED FOR THIS YEAR’S EDITION OF THE RACE

We realise that, just like our race, many of you have been affected by the Covid-19 epidemic personally or in your work life. We appreciate that you wanted to stand at the start even in this uncertain situation, so we have done everything we could to offer you the following benefit. As we have previously informed, the race fees was not enough to cover even the costs of preparing this year's "hobby" race. Every year, we order medals, race bibs and other necessary stuff for the organisation of the race well in advance and we couldn’t postpone the provision. During more than six months of preparations, we tried to estimate the development of the epidemic situation and prepared a number of possible versions accordingly. It was always a priority for us to organise the race and fulfil our commitment to you, the competitors, fans, partners and also to the history of the race, even at the cost of certain restrictions imposed by necessary safety measures. That is why we came up with the proposal for a separate start and finish area, starts in smaller groups or a 9-day version with gradual starts, as was in the end the way Vasaloppet was organised. Preparing each version took up a lot of time and effort. In the end, we had to separate the elite race and organise a virtual version of the race for amateur cross-country skiers.

As stipulated in the Terms and Conditions the entry fee is non-refundable, but thanks to all ČEZ Jizerská 50 partners and the public administration and their openness and support, we are happy to be able to offer you a discount on the race fee for the 55th edition of the race, which will take place on 11-13 February 2022. The only downside being that because of this, we now know that next year will be financially much more demanding for us. Nevertheless, we want to oblige you and we think it fair to offer you the maximum possible discount.

From April 14, 2021, everyone who registered for the 54th ČEZ Jizerská 50 2021 gets the chance to choose from the following options in the "entry fee form" in SportID while filling in their application form:

1. a) use the 50 % discount from the already paid entry fee in 2021 for the registration for any Jizerská 50 race in 2022;
2. b) donate the discounted amount for the organization of Jizerská 50 2022. We will donate 10 % of this amount to charity next year.*

* For those who choose option b) and register for the upcoming year in time, we are preparing a special race bib with thanks.

Regardless of which of the offered options you choose, the following applies to what happens afterwards:

• You have time until May 11, 2021 by when you should decide whether you want to use the discount advantage or to donate the proportional amount from the purchased race fee for 2021.
• For each competitor the discount equals 50 % of the already paid race fee for the given race of the 54th year of the race. This amount corresponds to a specific value, depending on when you registered for the race and what the race fee was at the time.
• You will receive a code for the discount which will be stored in your account in the SportID system. Subsequently, we will also send the discount code to the e-mail address listed in your account. The code will be generated and sent by e-mail after May 11, 2021. Registration for the 55th ČEZ Jizerská 50 will be launched at the same time as the code distribution.
• The code will be transferrable, which means that if you do not want to use the discount, you can give it to someone else.
• The discount code can be used for any race. If a skier has purchased more entry fees (for themselves or for their family), they will receive a corresponding number of codes. Discounts cannot be combined.
• If you choose a race where the race fee is lower than the provided discount, the difference will not be reimbursed.
• The discount code is valid until September 30, 2021.
