ČEZ SkiTour Will Not Take Place in 2025

We are compelled to cancel the 18th edition of the ČEZ SkiTour series. The main reasons are the variable snow conditions in recent years and declining interest. Both factors have made organizing the series increasingly difficult, leading to the tough decision not to hold the races in the upcoming season.

However, ČEZ SkiTour is not ending completely. We will work on innovating the series format for the 2026 season, aiming to introduce a series that is sustainable and functional under the variable snow conditions in the Czech Republic, providing a long-term option for the cross-country skiing community.

The series will not take place in 2025, but some standalone races will still go ahead. This winter, you can participate in the Krušnohorská 30, Bedřichov Night Light Marathon, Orlický Marathon, and JeLyMan. However, the races in Horní Mísečky and Harrachov will not be held in 2025.

Some participants are eligible to transfer their entry fees from canceled races in 2024. If this applies to you, please contact us individually at info@skitour.cz.

We are aware of the long wait for this final decision on the future of ČEZ SkiTour. The delay was caused by our considerable efforts, together with partners, local organizers, and other stakeholders, to find a solution and a sustainable format for the winter of 2025, which unfortunately proved unattainable.

We would like to sincerely thank ČEZ Group for their ongoing partnership and support of SkiTour since its inception. We believe that together, we can successfully reintroduce ČEZ SkiTour to the public in 2026.

We wish all skiers the very best for the 2025 winter season and hope you will continue to support us in the years to come. We will do everything we can to ensure that ČEZ SkiTour takes place in 2026.
