For the safety of competitors we are slightly modifying the route of Friday's VW 20 km freestyle race

While checking the course today, we came across a section where tree branches are encroaching on the race lines and are dangerously low. This could be a safety issue, especially as this is an evening race with headlamps.

We have removed this approximately 500m section from the race and added this distance in another part of the course so that the length of the race remains the same and you can experience a full moonlight and headlamp ride!

We will continue to monitor the weather forecast and route throughout today and tomorrow and will update you with any news as it arises. You can find an updated map in the race info now.
